Why TheDeckHouse is Trusted by All Skaters

TheDeckHouse is a Company Built on the passion for skating

Like most things in life, you usually follow a passion that you have for things. It's why all skateboarders skate and we think that we speak for the whole group when we say, there's nothing better than heading to your favorite skate spot with your friends. It's moments like these that make skateboarding special, especially as you get older and every dollar you save can be spent on a new deck.

Believe it or not TheDeckHouse.com understands that saving up for a deck can take awhile, especially for those younger skaters who are just getting their first jobs, slaving away for minimum wage, just checking the clock every few minutes to see how much longer than need to stay at work, until they can head to the skate park.

We were there, for a very long time, our current owner and his cousin worked as a runner for a caterer and the job consisted of prepping food, cleaning tables, and taking out the trash for hours. It sucked, we hated it, but when you left with a paycheck, we knew that we can get a new skate deck within a few days.

Fast forward a few hours after our awful job and we were already on the computer checking to see which skate decks are available and which brand we were going to try out. It was one of the most serious purchases a 10 year older can make, especially after scrubbing down kitchen floors for hours on end. We would contemplate a bunch of different deck brands to mimic what our favorite skateboarders were riding.

  • Element because Bam Margera was our hero. Every kid wanted to be like Margera, whether it was an Element Deck or Viva La Bam on the TV.
  • Chris Cole was why our owner rode Zero. He was graceful and there wasn't a park or street that Chris Cole didn't dominate
  • Plan B because we wanted to skate like Paul Rodriguez, who was one of the best to ever do it
  • Ryan Sheckler with a red and black Plan B board because he was still a kid doing things that the best pro skaters couldn't even do
  • Daewon Song on that classic Almost Board. A unique looking board that had some insane pop to it
