That would be Jamie Thomas, the founder of Zero skateboards who started this aggressive and rebellious brand in 1996. Although the Zero Skateboard company was founded in 1996, the Zero skate deck wasn't originally in the mix, as the Zero company started by making apparel. Imagine a world without Zero Skate decks, yeah, that was a reality back in the mid 90's. Fast forward to mid 1997 and the team members of Zero were receiving their first decks.

The skaters that were part of the Zero team were pushing the limits of what is possible on a skateboard and man, they were aggressive.
